BSU junior wins TV at BSU hockey game

For the first time in nearly two years, there was a winner last week of the Paul Bunyan Communications Hockey Hot Shots Promotion held during BSU men’s hockey games at the Sanford Center. Hunter Bies made his shot at center ice during first intermission of the BSU- Alaska-Fairbanks game on Nov. 14. Bies is a junior from Princeton, Minn, majoring in math and accounting. He is the eighth winner in the contest’s five-year history but the first since the 2012-13 season.
