Brad Swenson, who has retired after 30 years with the Bemidji Pioneer, will be honored with a retirement party from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, in the community room at Northview Manor, 1805 30th Street N.W. in Bemidji.
Swenson was Opinion Page/political editor for the Pioneer until he retired Aug. 1 due to medical issues. Lunch will be served. Community members, co-workers, politicians and government officials are all invited.
