BIGFORK -- The third annual BikeBender bicycle tour will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Aug. 15 at the Bigfork Valley campus.
The BikeBender is a choice of three paved routes: a 42-mile route for experienced riders, a 17-mile route that enters Scenic State Park and turns around at the historic lodge on Coon Lake, and a 17-mile route that travels a wide bike lane on Scenic Highway 7. All tours begin and end on the Bigfork Valley campus, and hydration stations and snacks will be available along the routes. Registration includes a T-shirt (while supplies last), lunch, a bike water bottle and the opportunity to ask questions on all things bicycle from bike professional Kirby Harmon, according to a release. Family riders are welcome. Children age 12 and younger ride free and lunch is available for a fee. Lunch will be available for a fee for non-participants. Register at BigforkValley.org or at the event. Registration is $20, $25 on tour day. Family pricing is available. All participants must wear a helmet.
