The Bemidji High softball team braved the elements Monday to hand West Fargo a 15-4 beating at the BHS complex.
The game was played in a light rain that made conditions uncomfortable for both players and fans.
Bemidji banged out 13 hits, four for extra bases, and wrapped up the win with six runs in the first.
Justine Ossman went the route on a four hitter, fanning four and walking four. Ally McCracken worked the full game for the visitors to take the loss.
Bemidji opened strong, Hits by Amy Boyer, Amber Crunden, Brittany Thompson and Rachel Barckholtz resulted in the six- run first.

Brittany Black's solo homer in the second made it 7-0.
West Fargo got two back in the third but Bemidji answered with three on hits b y Thompson, Black and pinch hitter Alice Storey.
After the visitors scored twice in the fourth, Bemidji came back with five with Crunden opening with a single, Black and Meg Claypool following with doubles and Amber Teal ending with a triple.
Crunden, Black and Thompson had two hits for Bemidji while seven others had one.
Bemidji hosts Moorhead today at 4:30 in its next start.
The B Team reportedly won its game 15-3. Details were not available.
