BEMIDJI -- A spaghetti dinner benefit for Shane “Mac” Yates will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Bemidji Eagles Club, 1270 Neilson Ave. SE. The benefit will include both a raffle and a silent auction. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12 years of age. Yates was recently diagnosed with a tumor embedded in his brain and it had to be taken out though surgery. Funds raised will help defray the medical costs of the surgery.
