A number of Bemidji's top girl hockey players have been singled out for post season play at three all-star series and two developmental tryout camps.
The 18th annual Minnesota Select Hockey Festival at St. Cloud March 30-April 2 will have seven Bemidji skaters in action on several age group teams.
Those with 1992 birth dates are Casey Miller, Shelby Sauer and Annie Swartz
From 1993 is Caitlin Blotske, while from 1994 is Allie Lapp.
Leandra Aldoff-Johnson will play on the 1995 birth date team and Francesca Huerd on the 1996 unit.

Prior to that meet, the AAA Minnesota Elite Classic will be held at Schwan's Super Rink at Blaine.
Sauer and Swartz will play on the 1992 team, Blotske on the 1993, Lapp on the 1994 and Aldoff-Johnson and Erin Booth on the 1995.
The Minnesota Super Series is set for Eden Prairie March 31-April 2 with Andrea Hanson and Amanda Hunt playing on the U-12 team ,Janie Johnson on the U-11 and Allie Heifort on the U-10.
Development camps
Eight skaters have been picked to attend the tryouts for the National Development Camps this summer.
Phase I will be tryouts at four locations throughout the state, including Bemidji State University, with 17 players picked from each of those tryouts to advance to Phase II at New Hope.
The initial phase will be made up of a skills/drills session Friday followed by scrimmages Saturday and Sunday.
Phase II will consist of a festival format with the four area teams playing a round robin.

Following those games, players will be selected to attend the US Hockey National Development Camps at Lake Placid, N. Y. with the 17-18 girls going June 24-30 and the 15-16 from July 8-14.
The BSU tryouts will be March 24-26.
Invited to participate in the 15-16 drills are goalie Kaia Sele, defender Carly Swenson and forwards Karly Engen, Sarah Erickson and Alissa and Haley Johnson.
Taking part in the 17-18 tryouts are forwards Kaitlin Dickson and Courtney Josefson.
All eight played on the high school varsity team this winter.
