A man and woman were arrested late Monday night after a Polk County deputy sheriff discovered an apparent burglary in progress at an unoccupied farm near McIntosh, Minn.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Department reports that the deputy was conducting a security check at the farm at about 11:30 p.m. Monday when he saw the couple inside the residence.
The couple, both from the Bemidji area, were arrested and transported to Tri-County Corrections in Crookston, where they are facing burglary charges.
The amount of property allegedly taken in the burglary had not been determined by early this morning.
The couple, whose names have not been released, are scheduled to make their initial court appearance Wednesday.
