The Bemidji City Council will be reviewing several contracts for city services at Monday's council meeting. The session starts at 7 p.m. at in Council Chambers of City Hall, 317 Fourth St. N.W.
Quotes were received for cleaning and televising approximately 32,000 lineal feet of sanitary sewer and cleaning lift stations (40 hours) and storm sewer (60 hours). Three quotes are being considered: $27,708.75 from Veit & Company, of Rogers; $28,810 from Infrastructure Technologies, Inc., of Rogers; and $41,894.75 from Visu-Sewer Clean & Seal, Inc., of Fridley.
In another project, quotes were received for root removal and cleaning of approximately 24,200 lineal feet of sewer. Two quotes are being considered: $29,030.40 from Veit & Company; and $27,820.80 from Infrastructure Technologies, Inc.
Funding for both projects was included in the 2007 sewer line budget.
