A barn on the 2500 block of Buchanan Avenue Southwest is a total loss following an early-morning fire Wednesday morning.
According to a press release from the Bemidji Fire Department:
A fire was reported just after 3 a.m. and, upon arrival, the barn was found fully engulfed.
Twenty-four firefighters responded with seven vehicles and remained on scene for about two hours.
A structure near the barn was saved, but the barn and its contents were a total loss. The loss included an unknown number of goats, which were inside of the barn.

No one was injured.
The fire remains under investigation.
Also responding to the scene were the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office and Bemidji Ambulance Service.
