BEMIDJI -- The Bemidji Early Childhood Collaborative will host a workshop on "the power of play in a high tech world" from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, at the Bemidji High School, 2900 Division St. W.
Speaker Cari Ebert will share about the importance of play, relationships and the impacts of screen time and electronic use on brain development in young children, a release said. The event is free and open to parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5.
