The Bemidji State University tennis team swept Minnesota-Crookston Saturday 9-0 and then dropped a nonconference decision to St. Cloud State by the same score Sunday to fall to 1-8 overall and 1-3 in NSIC play.
Melissa Fogelson and Kali Welu beat UMC's No. 1 doubles team while Kristen Lexcen and Julie Kapsner won in the No. 2 slot and Jenna Jespersen and Amy Erickson at No. 3.
Individually Fogelson, Welu, Lexcen, Kapsner, Jespersen and Erickson all earned wins.
The Beavers failed to gain a single set against St. Cloud State.
BSU is at Southwest Minnesota State University Saturday in their final regular season NSIC competition of the year. The match is set for a 2 p.m. start.
