Central Elementary recently hosted a Barnyard Days for both students and families of
Central Elementary and J.W. Smith Elementary. The event featured a wide variety of activities, including dance with live music, animal exhibits, entertainment, games, refreshments, face painting, art projects, sack races, corn cob toss and a special appearance by the Bemidji Axemen. Some of the animals featured were calves, chickens, goats, horses, kittens, puppies, lambs, pigs, rabbits and a couple miniature horses.
