A middle-aged man dressed in camouflage robbed the First National Bank of Walker's Akeley branch, Hubbard County authorities said Friday night.
Officers responded to the reported bank robbery in the city of Akeley about 5:35 p.m., Hubbard County Sheriff Frank Homer said in a statement. The robber apparently brandished a handgun to tellers, but no injuries were reported.
The man took an undisclosed amount of money and fled by vehicle, where he was still at large Friday night, Homer said.
"Upon arrival (at the bank) deputies learned a single male suspect dressed in a camouflage jacket and blue jeans ... had entered the bank while three employees were working inside," Homer said.
"The suspect displayed a handgun to one of the tellers and demanded that money be placed in a bag," he said. "Once the teller complied with the his demand, the suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash."

The suspect, described as a white man, 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, about 250 pounds and in his late 40s or mid-50s, then left the area in a late model dark blue Chevrolet Tahoe in an unknwn direction, Homer said. The Tahoe "was described as being very dirty."
Investigators late Friday night were reviewing bank security cameras to possibly identify the suspect, with Homer adding that photos of the suspect will be made public when available.
