Adoption Avenue will host its first Adoption Panel from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, March 1, at Clear Waters Life Center, east of Minnesota Highway 92, in the old high school in Clearbrook.
The event is free and open to the public. Child care will be provided.
The guest speaker for the Adoption Panel will be Amy Twedt, who is the founder of God's Children Adoption Agency in Fergus Falls, Minn., and the mother of 12 children, 10 of whom were adopted.
The Rev. Randy and Jerri Reimer of Kabekona Community Church, founders of M.A.T.C.H., a grant program aiding families with adoption costs, will be one of four adoptive couples available to answer questions about the adoption process and to share their stories.
