Sanford Bemidji to host Go 100 for Health
BEMIDJI -- Sanford Bemidji invites community members to join Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine for the 10th annual Go 100 for Health summer walking program.
The free summer-long walking program will meet every Tuesday from June 4 to Aug. 14.
The group will meet at 5 p.m. for registration at a new location every Tuesday before walking around Bemidji. Sanford encourages everyone to bring a friend, enjoy the fresh air and get a little exercise while learning how walking can become a part of a healthier lifestyle, a release said.
The first walk starts at Sanford Health Medical Center on June 4 followed by the Sanford Center on June 11, Diamond Point Park on June 18, Great River Rescue on June 25, Sanford Center July 9, Bemidji State Park (park at the BTCC) on July 16, Sanford Center on July 23, Paul and Babe on July 30, Bemidji High School on Aug. 6 and Sanford Center on Aug. 13.
