Support group for stroke survivors at Sanford
BEMIDJI -- Sanford Bemidji is hosting its free Survivors of Stroke Support Group from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, in the Education Center Conference Room, located inside the east entrance of the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center, 1300 Anne St. NW. Refreshments will be served. Attendees do not need to register ahead of time. The group offers support, understanding, and information about stroke related topics to those who have experienced a stroke, as well as for their support person and/or caregiver. This month, Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance resource facilitator, Ben Pedersen, will explore local services and resources available to people affected by brain injury.
The group meets the fourth Tuesday of every month in the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center Education Center from 2:30 to 4 p.m. For questions, leave a message at (218) 333-5856.
