Minnesota police investigating candy-tampering incident

DULUTH - Duluth police are investigating a report of tampered candy after officials received a report that trimmed nails had been placed in a candy bar that was obtained during the school’s fall fest.

Officials have not identified a suspect and that numerous people donate candy for the event.

The incident happened at Bayview Elementary which is a part of Proctor school district which is located within Duluth’s city limits.

Police are reminding individuals to inspect their children’s candy carefully when they return home from trick-or-treating.
