PUPOSKY — The public is invited to a sculpture dedication and ice cream social in memory of Logan Roy on Sunday, July 31, outside of the Belle Thalia Creative Arts Space, 24011 Highway 89 NW, in Puposky.

Starting at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday right before local playwright Janet Preus’ original concert showcase at 2 p.m. with Broadway composers Fred Steele and Robert Elhai, attendees are invited to see the three new sculptures installed in the Nine Muses Sculpture Garden on the campus of Belle Thalia Creative Arts Space in fulfillment of a grant from the Region 2 Arts Council.

The sculptures, made by local youth with the help of respected artists Al Belleveau, Russ Lund and Tim Nelsen, will be dedicated in honor of Logan Roy, a 21-year-old man who passed away recently near Bemidji, a release said.

Attendees are also welcome to stop by the Fleur de Lis gallery for a held-over show by Slovakian-American artist, Donna Elena Hrabacova, who will meet visitors after the concert showcase to explain her powerful work. She will also have recently created totems on display in the garden and in the gallery, the release said.

Masks will be required upon entering the gallery or theater space but will be provided at the door.
