BEMIDJI — Headwaters Music and Arts will host a Mini Musician Summer Sampler from 3 to 3:45 p.m. on Thursdays, Aug. 4-25, at Headwaters, 519 Minnesota Ave. NW.

Led by Suzuki-trained and long-time music teacher Julia Anderson, this four-session class will be full of music, movement and activities, a release said.

"Together, each child and their adult guardian will explore the building blocks of music and be introduced to many different instruments," the release said. "The group will learn and grow together through play and experimentation."

The class is geared toward children ages 2 to Pre-K, each child will need to be accompanied by a parent, guardian or other special adult.

The cost to participate is $75 per child-adult pair ($35 additional sibling or adult). Space is limited so advance registration is required.

Other times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
