Gallery North to host mosaic bird class Oct. 11

Gallery North will hold a mosaic bird class from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the gallery, 310 Fourth St. NW.

BEMIDJI — Gallery North will hold a mosaic bird class from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the gallery, 310 Fourth St. NW.

At the event, participants will make seven-inch mosaic birds on a wood base. Attendees will also learn to use nippers, how to use the right adhesive for the artwork and how to grout the mosaic piece, a release said.

All supplies will be provided, and attendees are asked to bring safety glasses.

The class is for those ages 15 and older and is limited to eight participants.

The cost is $35, and registration and payment are required to reserve a space. Checks can be made out to Dianne Narum.
