Gallery North to hold 'Warm Your Heart With A Little Art' classes

BEMIDJI -- Gallery North will hold a series of "Warm Your Heart With A Little Art" classes throughout the month of February.

Art classes include:

• "Handcrafted Copper Tooling" with Diana Collison-Jones will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4.
• "Paint and Decorate Wood Plaques" with Diana Collison-Jones will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5.
• "Woodcarving Bear on Basswood" with Frank Bera will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9.
• "Woodburning on Basswood"with Les Sanders will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10.
• "Mini Mosaic Mandala" with DeeDee Narum will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10.
• "Snowbirds in the Pines, watercolor" with Marion Caroline will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11.
• "Carving a Face in Basswood" with Frank Bera will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16.
• "Art Journaling 101 Workshop" with DeeDee Narum will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16.
• "Acrylic Pouring 101" with Kathy Sander will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17.
• "Found Objects Art" with Linda Rother will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19.
• "Spring Fling, watercolor" with Marion Caroline will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
• "Carve a German Shepherd" with Frank Bera will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23.
• "Watercolor Pencil 101" with Les Sanders will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24.
• "Creating Crystal Jewelry" with Devon Spears-Thomas will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25.
• "Wire Wrapping 101" with Kathy Sanders will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26.

Class size is limited to eight students, age range from 16 years to adult. Masks must be worn by both students and teachers during class times, a release said.
All classes are free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required. All materials are provided by the instructor unless otherwise indicated.
