BHS' La Voce Ballo, Saxton win at Hastings

BEMIDJI--Bemidji High School's La Voce Ballo won first place in the single gender division Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Swinging by the River show choir competition in Hastings, Minn.

BEMIDJI-Bemidji High School's La Voce Ballo won first place in the single gender division Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Swinging by the River show choir competition in Hastings, Minn.

Bemidji's Vocalmotive placed second in the Class AA division behind champion Spectrum from Ankeny (Iowa) Centennial.

Charlotte Saxton of Vocalmotive won best soloist.

The Bemidji show choirs will take part in the Totino Grace Showchoir Spectacular on Saturday, March 2, in Fridley, Minn.
