REQUEST FOR SEALED QUOTES
PROPANE FUEL
Notice is hereby given that Independent School District No. 32, Blackduck, Minnesota, will receive written quotations for the transport and delivery of propane fuel, in full tanker loads, to the School District for the 2020-21 school year. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to transport and fill propane tanks located at 156 – 1st Street NE, Blackduck, Minnesota. The School District anticipates that 50,000 gallons of propane will be needed for the heating season. The contractor is expected to refill the School District-owned propane tank(s) which holds Eighteen-Thousand gallons, as and when required during the 2020-21 school year.
Quotations are to be submitted on the Quote Form which is available from the District Office. Sealed quote envelopes shall bear the inscription “2020-21 Propane Heating Fuel.” Sealed quotes will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on June 26, 2020.

Quote must be good for 60 calendar days after submission. THIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN ORDER.
On July 13, 2020, at 7:00 o’clock p.m., the school board will meet to evaluate the quotations and act thereon. The School District reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any quotation and to make an award for propane that is deemed most favorable and advantageous to the School District.
Any person whose quotation is accepted will be required to furnish a performance bond in the full amount of its quotation, which bond shall comply with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Section 574.26.
