HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bemidji City Council will meet in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 317 4th Street NW, Bemidji, MN on Monday, April 19, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, to hold a Public Hearing and 2nd reading of an:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16 OF THE
BEMIDJI CITY CODE
ENTITLED, “FIRE PREVENTION AND PROTECTION”
AMENDING ARTICLE II – FIRE CODE
Such persons to be heard with regard to this matter should be present at this meeting. In accordance with the requirements of Minn. Stat. Sections 13D.015, 13D.021, and 13D.04, the Mayor of the City of Bemidji has determined that an in person meeting is not practical or prudent because of a health pandemic and Peace Time State of Emergency, declared under Chapter 12 of the Minnesota Statutes; has been determined that the physical presence of the governing body, staff and members of the public is not feasible; and that some or all of the City Council members may be participating by telephone or other electronic means; that any person wishing to participate in the public hearing may do so via telephone or video conferencing (Webex), or submitting written comments prior to the hearing via mail, email (cityclerk@ci.bemidji.mn.us) or dropping off at City Hall, 317 4th Street NW, Bemidji, MN by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021.
