RANIER BOAT LAUNCH AND PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Ranier City Council, at the Ranier City Hall at 2099 Spruce St, Ranier MN until 1:00 PM on Thursday September 16, 2021 at which time all bids will be opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all materials, skill, labor, and all else necessary for the Project listed herein, in the City of Ranier, MN.
Hand delivered bids must be delivered to the Ranier City Administrator office at the 2099 Spruce St address listed above.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bidder's bond acceptable to the City of Ranier in an amount of at least five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid, payable without condition to the City of Ranier. If the successful bidder fails to enter a contract or to give bond as required by law within the specified number of days after the award of the contract; certified check or bidder's bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.
The Project includes the following Work:
Temporary erosion control, removals, excavation-common, concrete pavement and structural concrete, boat launch with precast concrete planks and floating dock, bituminous paving, pavement markings, turf establishment, and landscaping.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents:
Complete project bidding documents are available to view at the Widseth office at 315 5th St, Suite 1, Bemidji, MN 56601 or by contacting Joe Sutherland of Widseth at 218 324 1390 or joe.suther land@widseth.com. Cost for a hard copy set of bidding documents is $40,000, payable to Widseth.
All bids must be submitted on the official forms prepared by the Engineer for that purpose. Bids shall be securely sealed, endorsed upon the outside with a brief statement as to the work for which the bid is made, and directed to the Ranier City Administrator at the 2099 Spruce St, Ranier address listed above.
The Ranier City Council reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled closing time set for receiving bids and to reject any and all bids and to award the contract as the City deems in their best interest.
