BEMIDJI -- Five choirs, with 260 voices, will present Bemidji High School’s annual winter concert at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17 at the BHS Auditorium.

Under the direction of Chris Fettig, all of the singers will be on stage to perform “Night of Silence,” a song the massed choirs have been performing for 30 years.

The Varsity Choir, made up of 105 freshmen, will open the program with “Come, Let’s Sing This Happy Day,” arranged by retired Bemidji State University choral director Paul Brandvik.

The Men’s Ensemble, made up of David Caliri, Eric Djonne, Jonah Fuhrman, Joe Hudson, Calder Karger, Noah Paulson and Louis Saxton, will follow with a Pentatonix arrangement of “Mary Did You Know?”

That will be followed by the Bel Canto Choir, made up of 69 girls in grades 10-12. The 17-member Madrigal chamber group will perform next, followed by the 71-member a cappella choir and the massed choir finale.
