MOORHEAD, Minn. — It’s no joke — Steve Martin and Martin Short will bring their mix of stand-up comedy and music to Bluestem Amphitheater on June 7, 2019.

Martin and Short first paired up in the 1986 comedy “The Three Amigos,” and appeared together five years later in “Father of the Bride” and the 1995 sequel.

A recording of their first tour, "An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life," was released on Netflix.

A longtime banjo player, Martin has devoted more time to playing than acting and has frequently performed with bluegrass band Steep Canyon Rangers and singer Edie Brickell. Martin and Steep Canyon Rangers played WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minn., in 2012.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, ranging from $75 to $250. Tickets are available at the Tickets300 box office, or by calling 866-300-8300.

The amphitheater south of Moorhead is near the Red River on the Minnesota-North Dakota stateline.
