BEMIDJI -- Bemidji MusiCamp is hosting students from Hawaii, Saudi Arabia and all over Minnesota this week at Bemidji State.

The camp runs through Saturday with concerts open to the public on Friday and Saturday. Students can attend the camp for band, choir or piano and can experience individual instruction, ensemble chambers and large groups. A total of 375 students are attending the camp this year, officials said.

Middle school students in jazz bands and small ensembles will perform at 6 p.m. Friday and high school students at 7:15 p.m. Friday at the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex. Concert bands, choirs and solo piano recitals will be held at 10 and 11:15 a.m. Saturday at the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex, Hobson Memorial Union and also in the Beaux Arts Ballroom.
