Indie-folk-rock concert in Turtle River on Friday, Sept. 7
TURTLE RIVER—Indie-folk-rock songwriters Mandy Fer and Dave McGraw will return to Turtle River to perform at Old Salem Hall on Friday, Sept 7. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the concert starting at 7 p.m.
McGraw and Fer will be joined by Thom Lord on electric bass.Fer is known as a standout electric guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, while McGraw's emotional songwriting riffs on natural elements of the world around him, according to their website. McGraw and Fer joined forces in Flagstaff, Ariz., in 2010 before relocating to the Pacific Northwest in 2012.

Old Salem Hall is located on the corner of Second Street and Salem Drive in Turtle River, about 10 miles north of Bemidji off old Highway 71.
