Mathilda "Tillie" Lenius, 82, of Frazee, died on Saturday, Febru-ary 16, 2008 in her home.

Mathilda Elizabeth Reyelts was born the daughter of Claus and Annie (Wandrie) Reyelts on Aug. 15, 1925, in Frazee. She was raised here and attended school, graduating from Frazee High School in 1943. She lived on the family farm and married Harold Lenius on Oct. 24, 1949, in Frazee. They made their home in Hobart Township.

Tillie enjoyed gardening, sew-ing, quilting and needlework. She liked to read and play cards with her family and friends. She was a member of the Lakeside Cemetery Board in Frazee and was active with the Concordia Guild at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Tillie and Harold enjoyed taking tour trips and they traveled throughout the United States, including attending the 1988 Winter Olympics in Cal-gary.

Surviving Tillie are her two sons, Dan (Karen) Lenius of Frazee and Ward Lenius of St. Paul; a daughter, Anita (David) Baumgartner of Rochester, Minn.; and five grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Harold (March 2006); her parents; two brothers, William "Bill" Reyelts and Clarence "Bud" Reyelts; as well as three sisters, Lena Payne, Mabel Bellmore and Elsie Reyelts.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. in the Furey Funeral Home, Frazee and also one hour prior to the service in the church on Wednesday.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Perham, with the Rev. Carl Noble officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Per-ham.
