Linda K. Williams

Linda Kay Raymond Williams 64, was called home on January 8, 2014 after a long illness at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Linda was born on April 17, 1949 the daughter of Dorothy Strandlien and the late Albert Raymond Sr. of Bemidji, Minnesota. Linda attended the Northern Elementary & Northern Bible Chapel and graduated from Bemidji High School. Linda then went on to Anchorage, Alaska where she lived and worked for 26 years and met the man of her life Melvin Will. She then came back to Bemidji to help take care of her mother.

Linda enjoyed her gardening, crafts, painting, and cooking. She most of all enjoyed her two small Shih Tsu dogs, Jamie & Joey, which she raised. She enjoyed country music & played guitar. She loved all her nieces and nephews very much and tried to stay in contact with all. Linda was a very loving person.

The family will miss her laughter, her tears and most of all her very beautiful smile and wonderful positive attitude and personality that made her a wonderful woman. Linda will remain in our hearts & thoughts forever.

Linda is survived by her life partner & lover Melvin Will, her mother & step-dad Dorothy & Lawrence Strandlien, her sisters Janis & Leroy Zerr of Hemet, California, Norma & Bob Benson of Bemidji, Minnesota, Phyllis & Jack Hagen of Quartzite, Arizona, Virginia (Ginny) & Brad Olsen of Satsuma, Florida, Catherine (Cathy) Lewis of Bemidji, Minnesota, her brothers John & Ron Raymond both of Bemidji, Minnesota as well many nieces & nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her father Albert Sr., her brother Albert Jr., and her sister Bonnie Lee.

Linda requested cremation and that you will spend time with your loved ones to do things you love.

A celebration of Lindas life will be held at a later time this spring. It will be posted in plenty of time so you may make arrangements to attend.

One last very important thing . . . Besides her mother Dorothy Strandlien, Linda K. was probably the most exciting, beautiful, loving and interesting woman to come out of Bemidji, Minnesota. I am so blessed she took time to let me know her. . . Thank You Linda K.
