VFW plans Pearl Harbor dinner

BEMIDJI -- The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1260 will hold its annual Pearl Harbor dinner for veterans and their guests on Sunday, Dec. 10, at the Eagles Club, 1270 Neilson Ave. SE. The social hour will begin at 4 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5 pm., followed by a short program at 6 p.m. Veterans will eat free. Family members and guests are encouraged to contribute to a free-will offering that will be taken. Silent auction items will be available. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit veterans and their families.

The event also serves as the annual membership dinner to “encourage new members to join and to thank those members already a part of the local VFW,” a press release said.
