Sawa, Sturk named to UMD dean's list

DULUTH — Aaron Sawa and Jackson Sturk of Bemidji were recently named to the dean's list at the University of Minnesota Duluth for achieving a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the fall 2021 semester.

Area students named to NCTC College dean's, president's lists

EAST GRAND FORKS — The following local students were recently named to the fall 2021 dean's list or president's list at Northland Community and Technical College, with campuses in East Grand Forks and Thief River Falls.

Bemidji: Taylor Sautbine, president's list.
Erskine: Cari Bachand, president's list; and Dustin Osland, president's list.
Fertile: Dawson Fuglseth, president's list.
Gonvick: Mykenzie Larson, dean's list.

Students named to the dean's list earned a GPA of 3.5 to 3.74 during the fall 2021 semester, and students named to the president's list earned a GPA of 3.75 to 4.0.

Olson achieves academic distinction at Whitman College

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Lauren Olson of Tenstrike recently earned academic distinction for the fall 2021 semester at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash.


This recognition is given to students who have completed at least 12 credits, passed all credits and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Wadena named to UMN Morris dean's list

MORRIS — Lizzy Wadena of Bemidji was recently named to the dean's list at the University of Minnesota Morris for earning a GPA of 3.6 or higher while completing at least 12 credits during the fall 2021 semester.

Fisher graduates from Winona State University

WINONA — Kimberly Fisher of Bemidji recently graduated from Winona State University, with a Master of Science degree in Leadership Education.
