Stand-up paddle boarding classes available

The city of Bemidji Parks and Recreation Department will host a series of stand-up paddle boarding classes at Diamond Point Park, 1710 Birchmont Drive NE.

BEMIDJI — The city of Bemidji Parks and Recreation Department will host a series of stand-up paddle boarding classes at Diamond Point Park, 1710 Birchmont Drive NE.

Classes will be held Thursdays, June 30, July 7, July 21, and July 28.

The events will include yoga poses, strength poses, dynamic balance and surf fitness, which are taught in addition to essential SUP skills.

Each class is limited to eight people per session and participants must pre-register. The cost is $20 per participant and date.
