Rose Marie Werner to speak at Headwaters Quilt Guild event

Nationally known quilt historian and author Rose Marie Werner will be the guest speaker at a special Headwaters Quilt Guild meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, at A Stitch in Time.

BEMIDJI — Nationally known quilt historian and author Rose Marie Werner will be the guest speaker at a special Headwaters Quilt Guild meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, at A Stitch in Time, 200 Paul Bunyan Drive. S. Suite 2.

Werner has been researching early 20th-century quilting for over 15 years and will be bringing examples of quilts from the new concept of mail-order kits from that era, a release said.
