RED LAKE — Red Lake Nation will host a Community Health Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, at the Red Lake Hospital, 24760 Hospital Road.
The event will include a hike for health and a Million Miles Against Diabetes walk from the hospital to the Humanities Center, along with a community feast, youth games and door prizes.
Here's a schedule for the day:
- 9 a.m. Opening ceremony, hike for health and Million Miles Against Diabetes walk.
- 10 a.m. Exhibits open at the Humanities Center.
- 12 p.m. Community feast.
- 1 p.m. Youth games.
- 3 p.m. Exhibits close and drawings for children and adult prizes.
The event is sponsored by Red Lake Comprehensive Health Services and the Red Lake Tribal Council.
All events are smoke-free and open to the community.
