Parks and Rec to offer skateboard lessons

BEMIDJI -- Learn the basics of skateboarding with lessons provided by the city of Bemidji in June. Children ages 6 and older are encouraged to participate in lessons providing information on skateboard safety, tips and tricks, board maintenance and skateboard vocabulary. Helmets and skateboards are required. Lessons are Fridays from June 8-22. Cost is $25. For more information, call (218) 333-1857.
