Parks and Rec to offer free open skate

The city of Bemidji Parks and Recreation Department is offering free skating along with free new rental skates from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the Bemidji Community Arena, 3000 Division St. W.

BEMIDJI — The city of Bemidji Parks and Recreation Department is offering free skating along with free new rental skates from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the Bemidji Community Arena, 3000 Division St. W.

Participants can bring their own skates as limited sizes will be available, a release said. The program is sponsored by the Bernick Family Foundation. Pre-registration is not required.
