Parks and Rec to hold community bike ride

The city of Bemidji Parks and Recreation Department will hold a community bike ride from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 4, starting at Paul Bunyan Park.

BEMIDJI — The city of Bemidji Parks and Recreation Department will hold a community bike ride from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 4, starting at Paul Bunyan Park.

League Cycling Instructor Natalie Gille will conduct a brief safety lesson and lead the bike ride. After the ride, the group will have an optional ice cream social at the local ice cream shop, a release said.

There is no cost to participate in the ride, but riders will need to purchase their own ice cream.
