Sanford Health welcomes Tucker Carlson, DO, to the emergency medicine team
Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota welcomes Tucker Carlson, DO, to the emergency medicine team at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.
Dr. Carlson attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, for his undergraduate degree. Following his time at Gustavus, Dr. Carlson went on to graduate from medical school at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, IA.
Before joining Sanford Health in his current role, he gained valuable knowledge through his residency with the department of emergency medicine at Mercy Health, St. Vincent Medical Center—a Level 1 trauma center, accredited chest pain center and stroke center—in Toledo, OH.
Dr. Carlson is an emergency care specialist providing pre-hospital and emergency care and assisting during patient transport, triage and stabilization in the emergency room.
When Dr. Carlson isn’t caring for patients, he enjoys staying active by going on runs or bike rides. He grew up in northern Minnesota near Brainerd where he developed his love for the outdoors that has stuck with him ever since. Dr. Carlson also uses his time to watch Sci-Fi movies and play games while topping it all off with a refreshing craft beer.
