PUPOSKY — The Mask and Rose Theater and Belle Thalia Creative Arts Space will host the Rural iSing choral group from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, at the theater, 24011 Highway 89 NW in Puposky.

Young women from grades 5-12 can audition for a spot in the group. The choral group will meet throughout the summer into early fall.

Musician and choral leader Annalise Aakhus will direct the group with its first showcase of music as part of the Sister Song Celebration Concert.

"Besides building a community of young singers, the young women will explore areas of their talents and interests with a former Director of Gifted Education, Cate Belleveau, via matched mentors with each choral member," a release said. "In learning circles, using literature from the Mighty Girls series, they will explore careers in the sciences, arts, journalism, technology and other fields."
