GRAND RAPIDS — MacRostie Art Center will host the Bemidji String Quartet at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, at the gallery, 405 First Ave. NW in Grand Rapids.
The Bemidji String Quartet is comprised of Eric Olson on the violin, Timothy Pinkerton" on the violin, Pedro Oviedo on the viola and Magdalena Sas on the cello. The group will present pieces from Mozart and Greig, a release said.
The event is part of the group's northern Minnesota tour, which is funded by a Minnesota State Arts Board 2022 Creative Support for Individuals grant.
"Eric Olson is a fiscal year 2022 recipient of a Creative Support for Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board," the release said. "This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature; and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts."
