BEMIDJI -- Greater Bemidji’s LaunchPad and the Northwest Small Business Development Center will host quarterly workshops for entrepreneurs interested in learning the basics of how to start a business.

These workshops are designed for people with a business idea, those who have recently started a business, or those struggling with their current business, a release said.

The first class, Launch Your Business Workshop: Basic 1.0, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, at the Greater Bemidji office, 102 First St. W.

This workshop is a great introduction on how to vet your business idea and steps to take to bring it to reality. It will teach how to prepare a business plan (both traditional and the one-page Lean Canvas), as well as how to understand your market, employee management considerations and more, the release said.

The second class, Launch Your Business Workshop: Basic 2.0, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, at the Greater Bemidji office.
