BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Public Library is partnering with Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota to bring the Justice Bus to the library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month. The bus will be at the library this month on July 28.
The Justice Bus is part of Reach Justice Minnesota, a series of initiatives that leverage technology to provide free, non-criminal legal services to the state of Minnesota, a release said.
The bus is staffed by Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota and provides the community members with legal advice on housing, family, elder and disability law, work, unemployment, money/debt, taxes and abuse victims.
There is no appointment needed and no cost to use the services.
Legal aid cannot advise on criminal, traffic, or malpractice cases, the release said.

The library is located at 509 America Ave. NW and is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
