BEMIDJI -- Harmony Co-op raised $1,250 for the Bemidji Community Food Shelf and the Bemidji Community Theater through its annual Buy Local – Give Local shopping event held Nov. 27-28.
The event invited shoppers to shop all day Friday and Saturday for Small Business Saturday, saving 10% at the till, while their purchases raised money for the community organizations present in the store that day. Ten percent of all sales those days were split between the organizations, a release said.
