Harmony Co-op offering classes through March

BEMIDJI — Harmony Food Co-op is offering various classes throughout the month of March.

Here's a look at the schedule:

  • 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 18: Goat Milk Body Cream Class. Participants will learn about the benefits of goat milk skin care products, and how to make their own goat milk body cream with Melissa Yeunger of Great River Ranch.
  • 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22: A Persian Feast. Participants will learn to cook a few traditional Persian feast dishes with Eleva Potter and Arash Jamali. They will taste a variety of foods for Nowruz, the Persian New Year, with tantalizing tastes from pomegranate to spices, and learn to make babari (flatbread) and tahdig (fried rice).
  • 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29: Springtime Desserts. Participants will bake
    some sweet springtime desserts with Debbie Rentz.

Admission is $15 per activity and all materials are provided by the co-op. Activities will take place in Harmony's Community Kitchen.
Masks are required at all Harmony classes due to close proximity.
