Gallery North to host First Friday open house Aug. 5

Gallery North will host a First Friday open house reception from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, at the gallery, 310 Fourth St. NW.

BEMIDJI — Gallery North will host a First Friday open house reception from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, at the gallery, 310 Fourth St. NW.

During the reception, attendees can view some of the newest work by various members of the Gallery North cooperative and discuss ways to do a showcase of their own, a release said.

The showcase space is open to artists of any medium, whether they are a beginner or an expert.

The public is also invited to meet the gallery's newest artists: Donna Anderson, Annette Detners and Darcy Brambrink.
