BEMIDJI-First Lutheran Church in Bemidji will hold two concerts this weekend.

The first is at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13, and features the Concordia College bell choir, Tintinnabula, which will perform a free concert in the sanctuary.

At 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, there will be a Bemidji Chamber Singers concert in the sanctuary. Directed by Dwight Jilek, they will be performing Bach's "Cantata" and "Jesu Meine Freude."

KELLIHER-Our Savior's Lutheran Church, will hold Holy Week services at the following times:

BEMIDJI-The Bemidji Men's Discipleship group meet each at 6:30 p.m. each Thursday, at the QFM Prayer Room, 206 Fifth St. NW, Suite 101.

Starting April 18 will be a five-week study of Sampson's life entitled "Fight" by pastor/author Craig Groesche.

BEMIDJI-The Bemidji Area All Pro Dads will host a Dad's Day Breakfast at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, in the social hall of St. Philip's Catholic Church, located at 702 Beltrami Ave. NW. PUPOSKY-Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church will hold the following Holy Week services: Palm Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. on April 14, Pancake Supper 4 to 7 p.m. on April 14, Good Friday service at 7 p.m. on April 19, and Easter Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. on April 21. BEMIDJI-Area women are invited to the Christian Women's Luncheon at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 15, at the Eagles Club, 1270 Neilson Ave. SE.

Along with the meal, the program will feature Amy Nelson from Netzer's Floral who will share about succulents. Rita Weber from Sioux Falls, S.D., will speak on "A Trip to Remember." CASS LAKE-Trinity Lutheran Church (ELCA) will hold Holy Week services: 10:30 a.m. Palm Sunday services on April 14, 5 p.m. Maundy Thursday services on April 18, and 5 p.m. Food Friday services on April 19. There will be a continental breakfast from 9 to 10 a.m. on Easter Sunday, April 21, and worship with Holy Communion at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend. LAPORTE-Holy Week services at Trinity Lutheran of Laporte will be as follows:

April 18: Maundy Thursday service at 6:30 p.m. with Holy Communion.

April 19: Good Friday service at 6:30 p.m.

April 21: Easter Sunday Sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast following. The second service will be held at 10 a.m.

BEMIDJI-The Ministry of Caring Caregivers conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 1019 Paul Bunyan Drive S. The keynote speaker will be Steve Zvonar, Board Certified Health Coach and Chiropractic Doctor focused on Functional Medicine, presenting 'Engaging in the Power of Emotion to Live a Purposeful Life.'

BEMIDJI-The Bemidji community is invited to a Wycliffe Associates banquet at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at the Hampton Inn, 1019 Paul Bunyan Drive S.

Banquet guests will hear how God is working amid civil unrest, tribal wars, spiritual warfare and persecution against Christians to advance Bible translation faster than ever before, a release said. Wycliffe's initiative, Tablets for National Translators, is working to load tablets with Bible translation tools and other applications for those who live in high-risk areas. They anticipate that in 2019 more Bible translations will be launched in new languages than ever before. The organization has set a goal of placing 7,800 computer tablets, at a cost of $300 each, in the hands of translators to launch 600 new Bible translations this year.
