Open-mic CoffeeHouse planned for Feb. 2

BEMIDJI -- Headwaters Open-Mic CoffeeHouse will continue its 2018 season from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, at Headwaters Music and Arts, 519 Minnesota Ave NW. Held on the first Friday of most months, the CoffeeHouse features open-mic music and spoken word performances in a supportive and family-friendly environment, a press release said. Local singer and songwriter Caige Jambor will host this month’s CoffeeHouse. Raised in a musical family, Jambor began playing at a young age and now performs extensively throughout the region. His single, “Spend Your Time,” was released earlier this month.

Headwaters Open-Mic CoffeeHouse is a volunteer-led community event with a relaxed and generous tone, the release said.  All ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign up for a 10 to 15 minute set. Sign up begins at 6:30 p.m..
