The Disabled American Veterans of North Dakota and Minnesota recently teamed up to purchase a new 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan and donated it to the Fargo VA Medical Center as a parking lot shuttle. More than $33,000 were raised over the last three months to purchase the vehicle that was delivered to the Fargo VA on Nov. 27.
Various DAV organizations contributed to the purchase of the new shuttle, including DAV of Minnesota Foundation; Park Rapids, No. 38; North Central No. 7 in Bemidji; Crookston, No. 14; Lake Land, No. 31; Regan McLean No. 5 in Devils Lake, N.D.; Francis J. Beaton No. 1 in Fargo, N.D.; Andy Nomland No. 2 in Grand Forks, N.D.; Jamestown, N.D., No. 31; and Clarence Tom Lemley No. 24 in Valley City, N.D.
